F.A.Q,s
Do you supply the alcohol?
Due to Oregon liquor laws, Nectar Mobile Bar Co. is a B.Y.O.B. bar service. While we aren’t able to purchase alcohol for you, we will create a custom shopping list for you so that you know exactly what you will need to purchase and the quantities needed.
What is your alcohol consumption policy?
We require that all alcohol present at an event be served from our bars and by our bartenders. Any guest may bring their own alcohol, but it must be served by a Nectar Mobile Bar OLCC licensed bartender. If alcohol is consumed at an event that is not served by one of our bartenders, Nectar Mobile Bar's liquor liability insurance is waived for that event and the host becomes directly liable for resulting incidents. Nectar Mobile Bar bartenders will not serve doubles or shots, or anything resembling a shot (ie: beverages “neat”). Spirits may be served “on the rocks.”
Are you insured?
Nectar is fully insured, including Liquor Liability insurance. We also highly recommend and encourage event hosts to carry their own Special Event Liability insurance.
Where are you located, and will you travel?
We are located in Medford, Oregon. Travel within 30 miles of Medford is included in our base package pricing, but it would be a waste of our wheels not to be up for a road trip! If you'd like Nectar to join your event, contact us and we can discuss the details.
What is your payment and refund policy?
We require a $200 non-refundable retainer to confirm a reservation. Payments made 31-90 or more days prior to the event date will be refunded, with the exception of the $200 non-refundable retainer. Cancellations made within 30 days of your event will not be refunded. All payments collected in the final 30 days prior to the event are also nonrefundable. Reschedules are allowed for no additional fee, but the refund policy is still based upon the original event date.
Do you have a rain date policy?
Unfortunately, due to our advanced booking model, we can not accommodate rain dates. The host is responsible for tent cover of the bar in the event of inclement weather. We are happy to work with your tent vendor to find the appropriate sized tent for your event.
What are the technical requirements for the bar?
Our bars require flat ground for setup and service, and clear access for set-up and break down. The Vintage Horse Trailer bar requires access to electrical within 75 feet of the placement of the bar. If your event is located somewhere without electricity and you’ve booked one of our bars requiring electricity, we can add a generator to your package.
How far in advance do we need to book?
Dates during peak season book up well in advance, but cancellations are possible, so it's always worth reaching out to see what we have available. That being said, earlier is always better!
